A NOTAM arrives in coded language, and it is easy to miss what matters. In Alfaero, artificial intelligence explains the NOTAM and the METAR in plain language, inside the app. The video uses Foz do Iguaçu (SBFI).
Step by step
- Open Info and search for the aerodrome (in the video, SBFI).
- Tap the NOTAM tab and open a notice.
- See the original coded text.
- Tap Explain with AI and read the explanation in plain language.
- Do the same with the aerodrome METAR.
Frequently asked questions
Does the explanation replace the original NOTAM?
No. The explanation helps you understand the notice, but reading the official text remains the pilot's responsibility.
Does it work with the METAR?
Yes. The aerodrome METAR can also be explained by AI.
